Am I Blu,?
"Aren't these tears in my eyes telling you..."
Old song, from way before your time.
But I recall it now because today the Fox Movie Studio threw its weight behind the Blu-Ray DVD industry standard. They joined Disney and Sony Pictures Entertainment. They walked away from Microsoft's latest best friend, Toshiba and its HD-DVD 'standard.'
But this fight isn't about Hollywood. It's about Redmond, USA vs. Japan. This standard is pivotal to XBox technology and Playstations. Hollywood and Vine is but a side show.
"Blu-ray is a superior high definition technology that is a full step forward in the evolution of consumer packaged media," Mike Dunn, president worldwide of Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment, said in a statement... Supporting HD DVD are Warner Bros., Paramount Pictures and Universal Pictures. Warner Bros is owned by Time Warner Inc., Paramount by Viacom Inc. and Universal controlled by General Electric Co. in a partnership with Vivendi Universal.

This is first time in my life when I don’t know what to say. After reading all comments I’m shocked. What has happened with our society, with our young generation? They are commenting terrible information, their lexis sounds terrible. Is that true, that only words they know is “cool”, “cute” and cussing words? What are they thinking of? It’s better not to think about it, it’s too sad
